Our polyurethane
foam roofing system is a closed cell, monolithic foam.
As it is sprayed in place, the foam bonds to the substrate and
becomes part of the structure. Forming
a thick, seamless barrier, polyurethane foam seals penetrations, voids and
junctions. Manufactured in a
variety of densities, polyurethane foam is easily applied to Seams,
penetrations and parapet walls are the major source of leaks in most roof
systems. Polyurethane foam
provides a seamless, self-flashing roof system that will stop flashing
leaks in problem areas. With a
conventional roof system, rainwater often migrates under the roofing
material, making it very difficult to find and repair a leak.
Polyurethane foam roof system adheres completely to the substrate,
preventing water migration. Polyurethane
foam roof systems reduce energy costs by improving thermal efficiency.
Our roofing system has the highest “R” value per inch (7.14 per
1”) of any insulation material used for construction.
The “R” in R-value refers to resistance to heat flow, and
greater R-values indicate greater insulation power. Polyurethane
foam roof systems can eliminate roof tear-offs.
Foam’s superior adhesion and lightweight often allows the system
to be applied over an existing roof, which helps control labor costs and
landfill expense. When installing a polyurethane foam roofing system, it is important to remember that foam is only half the story. A top coating is essential for fire resistance and to protect your foam roof from the elements. We coat our roofs with an elastomeric coating that integrates perfectly with polyurethane roofing systems. The coating forms a tough impenetrable membrane to effectively guard against sun, rain, wind and thermal shock. |
